OUR DIFFERENCES

Straight on a line
Insisting on fitting to a particular
Same old way
Set out since time immemorial
Insisting on the same rule
What a boring space
It would be if we all appear
In the exact same way
In same color and size
What a dulling routine
It would be if we all feed
On the exact same meal
Every time we show up
Variety is indeed a true spice
What great flavor diversity is
Change is really refreshing
Having a range is quite elevating
We all can’t be same
But can remain
In this space
With respect
To each others ways
And views to life
Pull the shackles of rigidity
Life is beautiful
When we show up in our true selves
